The vineyard is in the foothills West of the Estérel mountains, where pure spring water flows into the pools and fountains of a shady park that is refreshingly cool in Summer.
Our guests can :
- explore the surrounding countryside, rambling, or riding mountain bikes, through the forest paths
- discover the nearby beaches (Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus and Agay 18 kms away, and Saint-Tropez, 35 kms) and the lakes (the Lac de Sainte-Croix near the Verdon Gorges, and the Lac de Saint-Cassien)
- walk round the picturesque hill-top villages inland, and look for a bargain in the local antiques-cum-flea markets
- go shopping in the lively, Provençal market in Le Muy on a Thursday or a Sunday morning
- practise golf 4 kms away
- visit museums, monuments and gardens, for example : the Musée des Parfums in Grasse, the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires (Traditional Arts and Crafts) in Draguignan, The Musées Chagall and Matisse in Nice, the Musée Picasso in Antibes, the Chapelle Matisse in Vence, not forgetting the Abbaye du Thoronet, the Lerin Islands, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, the Domaine du Rayol, and so on.
